Starting on February 27th, 2018, ISEG will hold a new edition of their ISEG Career Forum, a job and career fair that has as main objectives “to promote the meeting and networking between the recruiting companies of young graduates by this School and the students from the areas of Economics, Management, Applied Mathematics and Finance” and to “provide students with expert advice in areas relevant to job search and to the proper management of their recruitment processes.”
The Career Forum, which last year was attended by more than 60 companies and had multiple workshops designed and organized especially for students, will once again use the beamian technology platform, which in turn will allow online pre-registration at the event and the workshops, with an uploaded CV and Linkedin profile, an easy and quick check-in at the event, and the use of student cards or beamian cards to digitally leave résumés on the companies’ stands (by simply touching the card on the beamers – intelligent identifiers – of each company).
At the end of the event, an email is sent to each company with all the CVs left on their stand and the organization receives an email with event statistics. In this way, the recruitment and selection process becomes easier and faster, since recruiters do not have to transport, organize and analyze paper résumés, and thanks to this the ecological footprint of the event is also reduced.
