One of the biggest decoration events in Portugal, Homeing – Interior Design and Home Living, had yet another successful edition this past weekend, from September 27th to 29th, in the emblematic Convento do Beato.
This event, once again organized by Exponor in a partnership with beamian, is dedicated to the latest collections of the best interior design brands, at an exclusive meeting point for business, trends and networking.
About 80 national and international companies were at this event to present differentiating products and the latest trends in the interior design industry. The Convento do Beato served as a stage for the interactions that occurred between the main players in the industry through the use of the beamian digital -you system.
beamian was there to streamline the check-in process for all participants, providing self check-in kiosks for a more autonomous experience, and to implement a digital lead collection process for the brands on display at the event.
beamian’s technological implementation enabled brands with digital lead collecting devices (beamers) to exchange contacts with visitors and industry professionals, resulting in a large number of interactions during the course of the three days.
On average, 100 contacts were exchanged for each of the 68 companies with beamers, that is, approximately 6800 interactions were registered among professionals in the industry, an excellent indicator of the potential of digital solutions applied to events.
Applying the beamian solution triggers different benefits in events with a big turnout, especially during the key moment in which the participants and professionals exchange contacts. The networking facilitated by beamian allows the participants to get more contacts because it eliminates the need to save, for example, 100 business cards, and reduces paper usage.
